I found eThemes to be a great resource when looking for resources. I was able to view many sites that would be helpful in finding information for 5th graders on Colonial America. It was nice having suggested grade levels on the sites to ease searching for appropriate materials.
Educational Resource to companion The Lost Colony theater. Lots of history links to learn about the colony of Roanoke.
I found this site a little difficult to use to search for elementary appropriate websites. It is good for general use, but I don't think I'd use it without a lot of extra time to research the sites.
Learn about the reasons for colonization as well as locate other books and resources on the American Colonies.
I found this database very easy to use and locate good information. I really liked the fact that the sites can be teacher and student recommended and that many had a readability level on them. I would definitley use this again to locate information.
